What We Do
SFC has developed a small, low cost, highly-accurate, and software-driven disposable pump that is well-suited to a wide range of injectable drugs. For its first target market, SFC is applying its miniaturized dosing pump to the $9b insulin delivery industry to provide a more effective, convenient, and affordable means to manage diabetes. Controlled by a smartphone app, this stand-alone pump allows better adherence to prescribed therapy which in turn allows patients with diabetes to live an active lifestyle.
SFC is also working with partners to drive product evolution in diabetes care by developing an integrated, closed-loop automated insulin delivery system, also described as an artificial pancreas.
